ADMISSION THROUGH JoSAA/ CSAB
Admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes at National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal is conducted through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and the subsequent Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling processes, as prescribed by the Government of India.
Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech.. Programmes at NITK Surathkal must appear for and qualify for the JEE Main examination conducted by the National Testing Agency.
Candidates who qualify for JEE Main are required to participate in the JoSAA counselling process for seat allocation.
Seats remaining vacant after the completion of JoSAA rounds are offered through the CSAB Special Rounds.
Eligible candidates who have not secured a seat or wish to participate in additional rounds of seat allocation may register for CSAB counselling as per the guidelines issued by CSAB.

ADMISSION THROUGH DASA
Admissions to the B.Tech. programmes at NITK Surathkal are offered to eligible Foreign Nationals (FN), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Non-Resident Indians (NRI), and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG) through the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The DASA scheme provides students residing abroad with the opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies at premier technical institutions in India, including NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.
Admission is based on the eligibility criteria and merit as prescribed under the DASA guidelines, with JEE (Main) ranks being used for seat allocation.

ADMISSION THROUGH ICCR
