Regular Admissions (Through CCMN)

Admissions to the M.Sc. (Master of Science) programmes at NITK are conducted through the Centralised Counselling for M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.) Admissions (CCMN) process. Candidates seeking admission to the M.Sc. programmes in Chemistry or Physics must qualify in the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) in the respective subject (Chemistry or Physics).

Full–time self–financed

For the Full-Time Self-Financed category, seat allotment is based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination, a national-level written test, and a technical interview. The written test and interview are conducted in physical mode at NITK by the respective Department Postgraduate Committee (DPGC).

Selection is made by assigning due weightage to each component as determined by the DPGC.
